RWE offers maximum comfort with its smart Smart-Station: you profit from comfortable, fast charging at Smart-Stations on your company premises or customer car park. The high-quality design with a sturdy, weatherproof stainless steel housing is combined with the highest safety standards. Your charging post is supplied by RWE with environmentally sound green power so that you have the big climate advantage of CO₂-free mobility over vehicles with IC engines.

The smart control module of the Smart-Station already anticipates tomorrow's standards. For example, it supports the more efficient use of renewable energies through selective charging when a lot of regenerative energy is available in the grid. These advantages are combined with free access to the public RWE charging infrastructure in the RWE Autostrom offer, which is also supplied with green electricity. You can thus extend the range of your electric car with a quick charge at home and in town – both of them at attractive locations.

RWE has already installed public Smart-Stations itself or together with partners in over 40 German towns and cities, and is constantly extending its offer. Pilot projects in cities such as Berlin, Essen, Mülheim, Dortmund have already led to numerous public charging points. The installation of a comprehensive charging infrastructure and an even denser network of charging posts will give you even more mobility in your electric car and let you charge it quickly during business trips or at attractive locations in other towns.

Our vision for charging – more comfort in the car

Once the electric car is connected to the Smart-Station a very fast data connection can be established to the Internet via the smart RWE charging post on demand. In future you will then be able to download your favourite music, local news and new navigation data. Even an update for the on-board electronics or a remote diagnosis of the electric car is conceivable.
