RWE trusts in a strong alliance

RWE trusts in successful cooperation with various partners from business, industry and associations for the development of electromobility.

In order to establish a nationwide network of charging posts for electric cars RWE is already working together with renowned infrastructure partners. Other cooperations are planned. RWE offers interested companies the opportunity to have charging posts for electric cars installed on their customer car parks: a first step together towards a low-emission, mobile future.

But electromobility should be suitable for everyday use from a technical point of view too. Innovative solutions are an absolute must here. We are developing these together with our technology partners. RWE presented the standard plug back in April 2009 at the Hanover Fair.

We work hand in hand with leading automotive manufacturers and energy suppliers throughout Europe to ensure simple, safe and fast charging. Our goal is a standard for the connection between the vehicle and charging post that is valid throughout Europe. Because every charging post must be compatible with every electric car - without any adaptor.
