Major pilot project in North Rhine-Westphalia: e-mobility in commuter traffic.
RWE cooperates closely with the automotive industry. The aims are to jointly develop projects, exchange technical information in respect of charging options and establish sales processes – both for charging infrastructure in the dealer network and for products aimed at private customers. Such cooperation also offers many practical advantages, for example where RWE takes over installation or customer service.
The far-reaching cooperation between RWE, Renault and Nissan ranges from the use of production-ready electric vehicles for pilot projects in which RWE is involved to an infrastructure partnership, from which Renault and Nissan dealers and their customers across Germany all benefit.
Key areas of collaboration - an overview
The Roadshow starting in Berlin, marks another highlight within the cooperation with Renault and Nissan. While introducing the new electric vehicle by Nissan RWE eMobility accompanies the tour with it‘s charging infrastructure.
Starting in March 2012 interested persons in Germany and Austria are given the chance to explore the driving experience in the first 100% electrically powered car by Nissan. For three months Experts answer questions concerning the car itself as well as RWE eMobility charging infrastructure. Of course, test drives are offered.
On the way to zero-emission mobility in Germany our cooperation with RWE constitutes an important step. Thanks to our partnership with RWE we are now able to offer our German customers high-performance charging technologies for Renault Z.E. electric vehicles at affordable prices.
