Major pilot project in North Rhine-Westphalia: e-mobility in commuter traffic.
RWE cooperates closely with the automotive industry. The aims are to jointly develop projects, exchange technical information in respect of charging options and establish sales processes – both for charging infrastructure in the dealer network and for products aimed at private customers. Such cooperation also offers many practical advantages, for example where RWE takes over installation or customer service.
The far-reaching cooperation between RWE, Renault and Nissan ranges from the use of production-ready electric vehicles for pilot projects in which RWE is involved to an infrastructure partnership, from which Renault and Nissan dealers and their customers across Germany all benefit.
